Applied Behaviour Analysis
Coastal offers a blend of in-person and virtual services to assess and address client behaviour. The assessment process involves conducting in-home observations, clinical interviews, and taking a detailed history. Once we understand a behaviour, we develop a plan that suits your needs, provide follow up and continuing support. At Coastal, we work together to create a customized plan that meets your child's needs and helps your family thrive.
Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA)
After completing the assessment and planning process, Coastal Behaviour Supports provides formalized assessment documents that can be shared with your child's team, including schools, doctors, and mental health practitioners. Trust Coastal to support you in navigating behavioural challenges with professionalism and expertise.

Carrie Eagle
BSc, MEd, MPEd - Applied Behaviour Analysis
With 20 years of experience in the education system, I have been a teacher, student support specialist, learning centre coordinator, and behaviour specialist. My career has taken me through some of Canada's most troubled communities, addressing intergenerational trauma, poverty, addictions, and crime. I was honoured to receive the Premier's Award of Excellence in the Public Sector from Saskatchewan.
Since returning to Nova Scotia in 2018, I've noticed a substantial need among parents for support, particularly as youth face increasing rates of anxiety, trauma, and depression post-pandemic.
My career has been dynamic, with few behaviours I haven't seen. My approach is person/child centred, without judgment. Identifying the purpose, or function, of a person's actions can lead to change. My role is to help you understand the science behind your child’s behaviour and work together to create positive outcomes for your child and family.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed with any kind of human ‘problem', reach out!
I work with people of all ages and abilities, individuals and groups.
I’m happy to collaborate with your team.

This territory is covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship which Mi’kmaq, Wolastoqiyik, and Passamaquoddy People first signed with the British Crown in 1726.
We are all Treaty people.
